murmuring through. silence came in pulsing ripples.
murmuring through is a participatory experiential performance with sounds, echoes of Eastern European folk songs, murmurs and spoken words. It is a ceremony that invites to enter the space in between, life and death, winter and spring, sky and earth, and build deeper relationships with plants. All this with the intention of healing the wound of separation between humans and the rest of the natural world, and to imagine and co-create a world that is more livable for all.
The performance is both a summation and an experiment in a six-week residency project, Curious Encounters at Earthwise, under the guidance and support of Christine Fenz. The residency focused on artistic research and practice with the non-human world.
